St. Giles is a congregation that strives to put its faith in Jesus Christ into action. The purpose of outreach efforts is to show the love of our Lord to others, while making this world a better place for those less fortunate.
Here's some of what we're doing:
A Child's Haven
Presbyterian Women's Group Diaper Drive.
Angel Tree at Christmas for Hollis Elementary School
Parents send us needs. We shop. What could be more fun? A great mission for children to children, many of us chose an angel just the age of our angels to bring the message closer.
Blood Connection
We strive for 4 drives a year, easier than heading to the blood bank.
Crop Walk
We've participated for 3 years, help us try for a tradition.

Habitat for Humanity
We built our first house in Fall of '98. Come build another with us.
Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN)
is a nationwide outreach ministry to homeless families in need of shelter, meals and support in finding employment. As a member, we provide accommodations for three to five families (up to 14 persons) for one week every three months on a rotating schedule. We provide bedrooms, an evening meal, a bag lunch, and breakfast each day during our rotation. In addition, activities are planned during the evening hours such as gym time, help with homework, crafts, and videos, and a host and hostess spend the night. St. Giles is proud to have been a part of the IHN effort in the Greenville community since its inception.

Meals on Wheels
Several of our members volunteer.
Thornwell Children's Home
We have a fellowship and funding Sunday once a year to hear what they've been doing and to help. If you can refurbish bikes, we try to keep the kids riding.
Triune Mercy Center
We try to provide Sunday meals for their soup kitchen several times a year. Come join us so we can feed the hungry at least once a month.
United Ministries
We keep a closet of food and clothing items to donate. But we'll build another closet if you help us.
