Faith Quest
(Rotation Workshop for grades 1-5)
Children come to know God and His greatness and goodness in a variety of different ways. The Holy Spirit and our Lord Jesus Christ are studied and glorified through our lessons. A different Bible story is taught each month in the following rotation rooms:
ACTS Out (Room E209) - The drama workshop will use the imaginations of the children as they experience the Bible lesson by dressing up in Bible costumes and reenacting the story on a real stage and in front of a real camera! Puppetry and music are also a part of this workshop.
CREATION STATION (Room E205) - The children will hear the Bible story of the day and work on art projects that will help them remember the story.
SCRIPTURE TENT (Room E201) - The children will experience the Bible through storytelling in the Scripture Tent and locate the setting of the story on Bible maps. Playing games and doing worksheets will reinforce the Bible lesson.
ST. GILES.COM (Room E202) - In the computer lab, the children will hear or read the Bible story using various computer software programs. They follow printed guides to lead them through the portions that are appropriate for the lesson that day. The programs then provide various types of games relating to the story.
