St. Giles Presbyterian Preschool (SGPP) philosophy is that Preschool is the first important step in a child's formal education outside the home. It is the Preschool that lays the foundation for all future school experiences, and we make every effort to insure that it is a positive and fulfilling experience in every way.  We want the change from home to school to be a happy one for the child, one where he or she feels safe and secure.  Over the years, our teachers and staff have developed a curriculum which is developmentally appropriate; socially, emotionally, and spiritually. We value the child as an individual, and provide real time and space for the environment of Early Childhood Education - learning through play.  Our curriculum is a theme-based, teacher created curriculum, and includes the 'Read It Once, Read It Twice, Read It Once Again' literacy program. This program reinforces rhyme, rhythm, and repetition, which is a powerful tool for creating a language rich environment in our classrooms.  St. Giles Preschool children attend chapel and music classes twice a month. We also offer Kinderdance, Kindergym, and computer classes		REGISTRATION BEGINS September 2010 thru May 2011: One Year Olds Monday-Wednesday-Friday $175/Mth.  Two Year Olds Monday-Wednesday-Friday $175/Mth.
